Happy New Year and Welcome to the very first Umbrella volunteering blog! I am a beginner to the hole blogging world so bare with me, but I am passionate about Umbrella and our fantastic volunteers so I thought it’s about time I shouted about it!
When I came back off maternity leave to my new role in volunteer services I was so thrilled to be part of the volunteering team, you welcomed me with open arms! By the end of the year I was so proud of all the hard work volunteers do for Umbrella and this was topped of by seeing Katie win the Umbrella volunteer of the year for 2017. Did you know that Katie has delivered over 220 hours in 2017! Just WOW!!
I am just as passionate about 2018 so let’s see what 2018 has to offer!
