Thank you to DHU Healthcare who held a BIG7T Craft Fayre in July as part of the NHS 70th Anniversary celebrations. They chose to donate the funds raised to Umbrella and Michelle went along to meet them at the event which she really enjoyed. The total raised was a whopping £900.68. Thank you to everyone

Thank you to the National Lottery Fund who contacted us to let us know that we have been successful with our grant application and will receive £9,002 towards our sensory room!

Thank you to everyone who choose Umbrella as the recipient of the green tokens throughout Tesco stores in Derbyshire at the start of 2018. We came top and secured £4,000 towards our sensory which will be coming soon. Two other charities also benefit from £2,000 and £1,000 so everyone did well!

We were delighted to receive support from Steve Cousins during his captaincy at Breadsall Golf Club in 2017. He helped to raise £5,716 for Umbrella. Thank you to everyone who donated

Thank you to HSBC who held a quiz with their corporate connections and together raised £2,150 for Umbrella. A team of staff also came to Umbrella to spruce up our meeting room and kitchen with a fresh coat of paint which was really appreciated. Thank you all

October 14th saw an evening of magic with a room full of witches and wizards attending to test their Hogwarts knowledge. There was a great atmosphere and the event was a success thanks to everyone who helped with the organisation and to everyone who bought tickets and attended….Including the gift aid, a total of £895.39 was raised which is incredible!

Umbrella were invited to hold a bag packing event at Morrisons during October and although we were only there 2 hours, the shoppers donated £336.66!

Thank you to The Morrisons Foundation for donating £6,548 to fund a fortnightly youth club.

The Foundation gets most of its funding from the sale of single-use carrier bags so now you know where it goes!

Thank you to everyone who selected us as their charity through the Coop in the Community membership scheme. You helped raise £1,120.09!

Thank you to Wayne and Helen who offered to host a quiz for Umbrella. We held the quiz at the Jubilee Club in Chaddesden in March and raised £329.91!

Derby Police held a fashion event at Ripley Town Hall in March and had officers on the catwalk strutting their stuff to raise money for Umbrella. They raised a whopping £2,135.80! Thank you to everyone involved

Derby Scouts named us as joint charity of the year for their 2016 stamp and deliver service together with Children First Derby. They sorted and delivered over 200,000 cards for 2016 and Umbrella benefited with a whopping £2,600! Thank you to all the scouts and those who used the service.

We couldn’t believe it when the White Swan announced they’d raised a whopping £12,000!!!!

Thank you to everyone at  Trade Windows in Alvaston who held a Christmas Jumper day to raise money for Umbrella and raised £101!

Thank you to the pupils at Ockbrook School who spent time fundraising for Umbrella. They raised a whopping £1,726.30
