Role: Coordinator Assistant in Children’s Services
Hours: 26 hours per week to include some evenings and weekend working.
Salary: Starting Scale 18: £9.40 (within band 18-21 rising to £10.41)
We are looking for an energetic motivated and organised individual to work within Children’s Services assisting the Coordinator with planning, organising and supporting activities for children attending Umbrella in groups or one to one settings. Key tasks include:
Supporting children in line with their needs and abilities at activities within a group environment, oversee activities planned by Lead support workers and one to one staff, complete work logs and other associated paperwork, advertise activities and take bookings, issue weekly activity support rotas and trip lists to families and support staff, ensure smooth running of front line services, to support the Children’s and, from time to time, Adult Services Coordinators with the general running of the services including general housekeeping and administrative duties, to deputise for the Coordinators during holiday periods and other absence, to take responsibility for overseeing of maintenance and cleanliness on site.
