We are looking for:
16 hours a week over 3 days (will in time include some evening/ weekend working to oversee lettings)
Scale 18, £9.59 – £10.62 per hour
We are looking for a diverse individual to work across our sites taking on day to day maintenance, bookings, health and safety and IT.
Key tasks include: Maintaining a booking system for each of the premises and being a keyholder. Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, records maintained and risk assessments carried out, conducting fire drills and organising equipment maintenance/servicing, being the first port of call for IT issues and liaison to our contractors, copier/phone queries and creating/formatting timesheets within excel. Ensuring sufficient supplies are at each site and dealing with minor maintenance issues (or organising further support if needed) attending health and safety meetings and staff meetings as required.
Umbrella House Administrator
16 hours a week: 2 days in the office 9am – 4pm and 3 hours from home for social media
Paid at minimum wage/national living wage
Supporting Umbrella House, being the first point of call for visitors and phone calls, manage social media posts, organising and order supplies at both Umbrella House and The Ronnie MacKeith Centre, maintaining the archive system, assisting with the smooth running of the office and attending staff meetings.
Activity Support Workers (must be drivers)
Working with children and young adults up to 30 years old with varying levels of needs (some including personal care). Supports are in group settings, one to one or two one, working at Umbrella House, Annie’s Place or in the community
Applicants must be qualified to (or currently undertaking) Level 3 in Child Care, Health and Social Care, Education or similar
Contracts are permanent and various hours are available:
From 20 hours a week (to include evenings and weekends)
Salary scale 15 – 18 £8.93-£9.39
Some successful applicants with relevant experience will be expected to take on lead responsibilities within their role and where this is the case, they will be paid an enhancement of £1 per hour.
Holiday only contract
126 hours per year (minimum) working 12 days in the summer, 3 days at Christmas, 6 days at Easter in line with Derby City School Holidays. More work can be taken on in holidays if you wish (subject to availability which there usually is!) and there will also be the opportunity to cover weekdays/weekends during periods of annual leave or sickness.
