Join the friendly team at Umbrella Derby & Derbyshire as our Health and Activity Coordinator, leading an exciting new programme designed to help disabled children, young people and their families access and enjoy physical activity.
This is a varied role where you’ll plan and coordinate inclusive group activities, work alongside specialist facilitators and build relationships with families, community organisations and local partners. You’ll help create opportunities that support health, wellbeing and ongoing participation in physical activity.

Secondary Location: Marble Hall, Nightingale Road, Derby, DE24 8BG
Hours: 18 hours per week, including some evening and weekend work
Contract: Initially funded for 18 months, with the potential to extend subject to future funding
As our Health and Activity Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for planning, organising and delivering safe, structured and inclusive group sessions that help disabled children and young people access and benefit from physical activity.

As this role involves working with children and young people, the successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting employment.
