No experience? No problem! We provide full training, so all you need is a positive attitude, a caring nature and a willingness to learn.
What you’ll receive:
  • £12.71 per hour
  • Holiday entitlement

Locations: Annie’s Place and St Edmund’s Community Hall
Contract: Flexible zero-hours
Availability: Part-time or full-time during school holidays
Working days: Weekdays and weekends
Typical shift: 10:00am–3:30pm, although this may vary.

The Role

As a Holiday Activity Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment where every child and young adult can thrive.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting children and young adults to take part in fun activities both on-site and within the community.
  • Encouraging confidence, independence and social interaction through play and engaging experiences.
  • Working closely with individuals and adapting your support to meet their unique needs and abilities.
  • Assisting with personal care where required, including feeding and toileting. Full training, including moving and handling, will be provided.
  • Building positive relationships with families, carers and colleagues.
  • Working as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality holiday provision.
  • Reporting any concerns or significant developments to senior staff.
  • Helping to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Job Requirments

As this role involves working with children and young adults, successful applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting employment.
